The hotel was conveniently located on the west side of the building, handy for our stay in Park Rapids, with good parking and proximity to restaurants. The rooms were very clean, but they smelled like an ashtray, except for the last night when the room became very cold due to a temperature drop. The service was mixed with surly and rude behavior initially but improved to be friendly and polite later on. The dining experience was not impressive, with limited options and not very fresh items. The location was good, but it lacked a specialist touch and needed improvements in various areas.

When we arrived, the room had a very strong odor, almost sending us into a panic, but once we settled in, the newly renovated room surprised us with its beautiful bedding and a comfortable mattress.
